With the tenth anniversary of The Hunger Games fast approaching, the time has come to take a look back at the talented team that made the series — based on the series of books by Suzanne Collins — such a success. Lionsgate is marking the occasion with the release of "The Hunger Games Ultimate SteelBook® Collection," a collection of all the Hunger Games films in one collector's edition package, available exclusively from Best Buy.

Besides being packed with hours of special features pertaining to the four films in the saga — The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay Pt. 1 and Mockingjay Pt. 2 — the $120 set includes exclusive artwork from ten artists who have each put their own spin on the world of Panem and Hunger Games protagonist Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence). As part of the celebration, Lionsgate also released a short documentary featuring the artists each discussing their artistic process for the art featured in the collection. They also singled out the excitement they felt at being part of an entirely female-driven project, particularly for an action franchise centered so prominently around a female character.

The ten artists, who hail from Canada, France, Thailand, the USA, the UK, Australia, Greece and Barbados respectively, each also discuss their influences when conceiving of artwork for the interior and exterior covers of the film cases. Pulling from film quotes, colors and even symbolic images, each of them brought their own unique flair to the look and the heart of Katniss Everdeen. read more
