Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar have won 'Best Actor' awards at the sixth Out View International Film Festival of Athens.
The stars of Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun screened a Greek-subtitled print of their film to full houses at the festival.
Festival director Maria Cyberdike said: "We have not only awarded these young actors for their acting but also because they have created history by being pioneers in India to act in Bollywood's first gay love story.
"Truly this beautiful film is India's answer to Brokeback Mountain."
The ten-day festival screened 106 international films, with guests from Germany, Canada, Israel, Austria, Norway and the UK present.
Sharma told Digital Spy: "Greek audience loved our film. They are very warm and friendly people. One day while we were walking in the street a group of Greek girls stopped us and asked us if we were you the actors from Dunno Y..., before taking lots of photos."
Parashar said: "We also had a live dance show. I performed Kathak and Kapil a Bollywood number. After our performance fans jumped onto the stage.
"We had carried some Bollywood music with us from India and told the DJ to play it and get everybody on floor dance with us. It was cute watching Greeks trying to follow our Bollywood steps."

"The response was fantastic with lots of whistles and claps," Sharma revealed. "Moushumi Chatterjee, Anupam Kher, Prince Manvendra Singh, Renuka Sahane, Parveen Dabbas, Meghaa Chatterjee, Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal also attended the show."
Sharma went on to add: "I was also part of a panel discussion on queer and new age cinema in Bollywood moderated by Rajeev Masand."
