The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, is set to organise the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2025 from December 10, 2025. The exam will be held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and conducted in two sessions per day: Session I (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) and Session II (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM). The AP TET Hall Ticket 2025 is now available for download starting from December 3, 2025, on the official website @ aptet.apcfss.in. Candidates who have applied for the exam must download their admit cards before the exam date using their Candidate ID and Date of Birth.

This hall ticket is mandatory for appearing in the AP TET examination, which is the eligibility test to become a school teacher in Andhra Pradesh for Classes I to VIII. Without a valid hall ticket and a government-approved ID proof, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall.

The online application process for AP TET 2025 started as per the schedule announced by the Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh. Candidates were allowed to register and submit their applications for the eligibility test through the official portal. The last date to apply was strictly adhered to, and only candidates who submitted their applications successfully within the deadline are eligible to download the AP TET 2025 Hall Ticket.

Selection Process of AP TET 2025

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is not a recruitment exam but a qualifying test to determine a candidate’s eligibility to apply for teaching positions in government and private schools across Andhra Pradesh. The selection process includes:

  • Computer-Based Written Examination in two levels:
    • Paper I: For candidates intending to teach Classes I to V
    • Paper II: For candidates intending to teach Classes VI to VIII
  • Candidates can choose to appear in either Paper I or Paper II or both, depending on their eligibility and interest.
  • There is no interview or physical test after the written examination.

    • Language II (English) – 30 marks
    • (a) Mathematics and Science – 60 marks (for Maths/Science Teachers)
    • (b) Social Studies – 60 marks (for Social Studies Teachers)

Note: There is no negative marking in the AP TET exam.

Admit Card Details

The AP TET Hall Ticket 2025 is a mandatory document to appear in the exam. Candidates must carry a printout of the hall ticket to the exam center. It includes important information such as:

  • Candidate’s Name and Photo
  • Candidate ID and Roll Number
  • Exam Date and Shift Timing
  • Exam Center Address and Code
  • Reporting Time
  • Instructions for the exam day
