Acting For Film & Television is a 3-month course that is designed to give you the skills, poise and confidence to perform in front of the camera. It is a holistic programme that encompasses training your mind, body, voice and emotions. Acting for Film & Television
This course comprises a basic module called Screen Presence & Acting Fundamentals and an advanced module called Advanced Screen Acting.
Screen Presence & Acting Fundamentals
The Screen Presence & Acting Fundamentals module helps you to understand and acquire skills for improving your screen presence and prepares you to meet the challenges of acting for the screen through the means of Mind, Body, Voice and Emotions.
Course Outline
- Understanding of mind, body and voice for Screen Presence
- Getting in sync with emotions and expressions
- Understanding and enhancing imagination, visualization and creativity
- Working of preparation and spontaneity
- Understanding characters and roles
- Improvisation: improvisation techniques, role-plays
- Monologues and dialogues (relationships)
- Preparing for auditions
- Performing behind the microphone and in front of the Camera
Advanced Screen Acting
This module focuses on preparing actors for the challenges they will face in the professional world. Intensive training sessions will equip students with the skills they will need to understand the demands of each role, and to perform with confidence and consistency.

- Understanding the demands of a role
- Mental and physical preparation for a character
- Vocal preparation and vocal readiness
- Language skills and dialects
- Understanding of on-shoot/on-screen technicalities
- Keeping pace and coordinating with co-actors
- Taking directions and handling pressure
- Understanding “peak performance” and how to achieve it
- Maintaining performance levels on an ongoing basis

C B Arun KumarAcademic Director
C B Arun Kumar has worked in the Animation & Broadcast Industry in India since 1985. He did his Masters from MCRC, Jamia Milia Islamia in 1989.
He has worked with TV18, Business India TV (TVI), Aaj Tak, Doordarshan, Vijay TV, Maya Entertainment and Pixion.
He worked on the first Indian 3D animation series, "Jungle Tales" (for Cartoon Network) with Moving Picture Company.
He was awarded the National Award for Best Director of an Animation Film (2005) for "Kachua aur Khargosh."
Vishwas Kapoor FACULTY
Vishwas Kapoor is a senior faculty with over 15 years experience as an industry artiste, who will be training students throughout the duration of the course. He is a Certified Drama Teacher by Barry John’s Imago Theater in Education Group. In addition, he has a VoiceMaster Diploma in PSR (Presentation Skills and Reading) a method course by Steve Hudson.
He has impersonated Mr. Arvind Kejriwal in the Zee TV show Gangs of Hasseepur (2014). He was the Language Supervisor for the Hindi Film Boss (2013), where he instructed Mr. Akshay Kumar on Haryanvi Dialect for the film.
