Believe it or not, Ram Gopal Varma has decided to give credit to FX School, which handled the cinematography and editing work for his next film Department featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Dugabatti. RGV explains: “When I was shooting Department, I knew I needed six cameras. I would arrive on the sets and explain the scene to my actors. Then the kids from the school, who are learning filmmaking, would decide where they wanted to place the camera. I decided which angle to choose in the editing room. There were 24 kids from the school who are working on the editing. I can’t pinpoint who shot and edited which scene. So I will credit the school for editing and cinematography or DOP in the credits.
